I came across that statement in 2011 when I read A Course In Miracles for the first time.
To be exact, it is written in lesson 48.
”LESSON 48. There is nothing to fear.
The idea for today simply states a fact. It is not a fact to those who believe in illusions, but illusions are not facts. In truth there is nothing to fear. It is very easy to recognize this. But it is very difficult to recognize it for those who want illusions to be true.”
We are born with only two fears. The fear of loud noices. Think of the doctor clapping his hands behind the baby to make the baby twitch. And. The fear of falling backwards. Think of the doctor letting the baby fall backwards to make it stretch out their arms.
Every other fear is learned. And can be unlearned.
Danger on the other hand is something completely different.
What would You do if there were Nothing to be afraid of?
Have a beautiful day out there. I’m going to.
